I have been planning a trip to my beloved New Orleans for quite some time now. New Orleans is a very special city to me and unlike any other in the country. I tend to escape there to indulge in the food, the culture, the architecture and its unique beauty. In December, I had this beautiful trip planned to celebrate my birthday, last minute chances kept me away. While working hard on curating a trip unlike any other trips to New Orleans I have experienced, I discovered the gorgeous Airbnb properties by Sonder.
Through the eyes of the photographer who captured the impeccably decorated work of the interior designer, I feel in love with New Orleans all over again. I now had an obsession with staying in one of the many Airbnb properties owned by the Sonders. A hotel experience may not ever be on my radar in The Big Easy. Each property reminds my of why NOLA gets the nickname--it is the gentle, slow and easy-going way of life in New Orleans.
Local flavor meets comfort is the vision of Sonders and I totally get it. Each space is adorned with special attention to detail to what we all relate to with New Orleans. The tarot decks, the magical and mystical references to Voodoo women, bones and alligators but also a piece of New Orleans that will always be what gets me--the glamour and art.
I'll be heading down 55 South from Memphis to New Orleans soon and hopefully, I get a chance to make memories in one of these breahtaking spaces by the Sonders. I know for sure I will have an extraordinary experience there.
