Bring it Fall
I may be one out of a million people who really does not look forward to fall. Yes, even being someone who enjoys fashion and all of the fashion trends , I always dread seeing the seasons change. Seasonal depression is a real thing. However, reality is that the inevitable will happen. The leaves will change colors, pumpkin everything will flood timelines everywhere and football season has begun. I’ve learned to suck it up and tell fall to bring it on. I could at least make sure I’m stylish while getting through a rut in the fall.
A tried and true fall piece that I love is denim. Denim works with practically everything. Denim is the one constant when I’m at a loss. I can always count on pairing a good blue jean with a top to pull it together. Denim is not just the foundation of any good outfit. Right now, it’s the wardrobe staple that makes me feel the most comfortable.
Let’s talk style and comfort, postpartum style is a big thing for me right now. My body has been laced with a little more love right now. I’m showing myself grace as I work to lose the last 5-10 pounds. Feeling comfortable is high on my emotional priority list right now. These wide leg pants have been my go to for several seasons now. They are very sleek yet functional and forgiving. The higher waist hides my little post pregnancy pudge. We need all of that, lol. My style philosophy is to elevate casual pieces with accessories. I really loved how feminine this olive blouse is. It has bold wide and gathered sleeves that balanced the wide leg jeans perfectly. A good red lip and bold earrings complimented and sealed the look.
