RECIPES : Baked Pears with Cinnamon, Honey and Walnuts
I think it's been known that I do not love fall. Fall makes me want to lay in bed all day, snuggle under the covers and eat. Now, I do love fall food. My favorites are dessert by far. I'd love to share with you all one of my favorite fall desserts that is simple as simple comes.

1. Preheat oven to 350F.
2. Rinse pears and cut down the middle. Using a melon scooper or a spoon, scoop the seeds from the center of the pear. Place in a shallow baking dish preferably with parchment paper.
3. Sprinkle ground cinnamon on each pear generously. Covering each pear. Place the walnuts in the center of the pears and over it as well. Drizzle honey all over each pear. Honey is a natural sweetener so don't be afraid to give the pears a little honey bath. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes.
As you are cooking, savor the sweet aromatic smell of pears that freshens your home. Before serving the pears, lightly drizzle your cinnamon for added flavor and presentation. French vanilla ice cream is the perfect compliment to this easy yet comforting dessert.
